Has Camillus ever considered making a 6-7 inch double edged knife with a cast brass handle (like the British Commando Knife or Marine Raider Knife). I would love to see an L-6 blade of that sort and I am sure there are others that would, too.

CAman,
As a matter of fact, we made the MARINE RAIDER Stilleto

We also made the M3 trench knife in WW2 and recently as last year made an EXACT reproduction. The closest thing in our current line-up would be the CQB-1, but its not a dagger.

We are listening though, so tell us why we should make one.

Will, I have an interest in historical knives and have lately developed an interest in fighting knives. The daggers are possibly the most pure of fighting knives. Considering the popularity of the Applegate Fairbairn and the Cold Steel Peacekeepers, I think Camillus should consider making such a knife. Thanks.

In the dagger department, what's missing from the factory knife market is a good quality "medieval" dagger. Something with a hardwood handle (African Blackwood is good stuff, and not too outrageously expensive) and a satin-finished blade, that looks "old style" for wearing to the renaissance fair and other anachronistic, theatrical, or ceremonial sorts of events, and can take and hold a good edge for assassinating junk mail in style.
