Nice collection! What's the one with the leather lanyard? Love that one, and the patina on it...

Looks like a nice and useful collection. I need to take a familypic of my collection...

Kind regards
Andi

thats an old timer 123OT that Sitflyer was kind enough to send me after i was admiring one of his pics.
great knife, lots of patina, a little rust though :/ i gonna need to clean that one real good here soon

Since today is my day off, I had a little time
decided to do an updated family photo :P

its changed somewhat since this thread was originally posted back in April
some new faces have arrived, some old faces were gifted (seriously think i gave away like 3 knives since then)
and in the Opinel's case, one got a face lift :D

Just thought i would share

thanks!

weird fact
5 out of 13 are carbon
8 out of 13 are stainless steel

and if i had to pick just one ..well its the texas jack
but if i had to pick just 2 it would SUCK...i love my 301, but i think i would honestly have to go with the rough rider barlow...and the sak HAS to be in consideration somewhere...

lol i think about this things from time to time, wife things i have a problem..how many knives does one person NEED! :p

even though i just posted this pic in another thread about five minutes ago, i think ill post it here too. this is every folding knife i own. lol

from top left; victorinox tinker, opinel #7, svord peasant knife, aitor castor pequena, an old parker that belonged to my grandfather
bottom; a new version 'imperial by schrade' and an old barlow that a friend of the family gave me when i was thirteen or so

nothing especially fancy but i like them. lol

also, heres some of my machetes;

top is a hansa, bottom two are imacasa. all are about 24".

ok i got ONE machete :D
i also have a tomahawk but i dont seem to have any pics of that :/

left side, 4th down?

its a winchester pen knife that my mother-in-law got my on our first christmas after getting married (would have been 2004)
it was before i really got into knives and i didnt really appreciate what I had, so i was misusing it and broke the tip. So last summer i took it to a local gun/knife show and found a guy to regrind the tip down to a wharncliff tip. Nifty little thing :D

thanks Smiling-knife
i like em :D

yeah, thats the one. i like the wharncliff blade on it.

what kind of machete is that? its got a *great* sheath. most machetes ive seen have a crummy nylon sheath that gets cut by the machete its supposed to carry in very short order.

its an ontario 12" machete

the sheath, well the sheath is special. I had it specially made since the dog chewed up my nylon one pretty bad and i didnt have a replacement sheath for it.
Wildman agreed to make the sheath in return for a buck 119 i had lying around. I think we both ended up pretty happy with the deal :p

Back to the topic at hand, now that a couple more Schrades came in today's mail, I need to do a Schrade family photo. Maybe I will once this storm clears.
