File guides question

I've been searching for a tutorial on using a file guide. Does anyone have a link?

File guides are extremely handy and pretty simple to use. You just clamp it over the part you don't want to file, and file up to it, to set nice even plunges, or shoulders on a hidden tang. If you have more specific questions, fire away!

This post has lots of good shots of how one is used for fitting a guard. Use it just the same way for filing plunges.
