File type for beveling?

What is the best type of file for beveling knives? Mill? Bastard?
Any particular brand anyone likes?

Double Cut Bastard. I used a Nicholson but they aren't US made anymore so I'm told they aren't like they used to be.

Magicut files are the bomb! They cut like a double, but leave a very smooth finish!

I prefer Swiss pattern files myself. A big 00 cut will remove metal pretty well
