I STARTED MAKING KNIVES FOR A HOBBY ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO.I STARTED WITH HUNTING THEN PROGRESSED TO FOLDING ,THEN TO AUTOMATICS.KNOW I AM ATTEMPTING TO DO FILE WORK.ANY TIPS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS JOE
When i started doen file work i layed it out in 10th's most of the time. Just pick a place to start and go down the same side laying it out 3/10's apart. On the other side go stight across from the starting point and move up 1.5 or a 10th. Then repeat the steps from the top. This will stager the marks then just file from one mark to the other this will help you keep it even.
