File work???

hey when you do some file work on the back of the knife, what type of compound do you fill it with so it fits up with your scales????

Epoxy with black dye usually.

You can also use JB Weld with black dye. It has tiny metal flakes in it that add sparkle.

wend I do a filework
I leave the same clear epoxy from the scales
looks good don't need any color.

I've both left the epoxy that I used and on a couple have cleaned the epoxy out to give better grip on the spine.

I use black acrylic paint to color the epoxy. But very very little of it. You certainly don't want 1/3 1/3 1/3 color to each part epoxy liquids.
