It's a filet of course but it will work great for boning out that whitetail this fall too. I especially like the way it takes out the backstrap.
52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles with attention to a fine grain. It does flex but is not wimpy.
Stabilized spalted maple handle with the worm holes filled
Overall length: 10 1/2 inches
Blade: 6 1/4 inches (more than big enough for the fish that I catch)
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
