This is one for a client's husband. Nothing fancy, just a clean filet knife.

1/16" ATS-34 hollow grind
Satin finish
11.5" overall with a 6.75" blade
Stabilized box elder burl scales

Thanks to Chuck Burrows for his sheath making video !!

Mark that is a fine looking filet knife. It had to have been fun to grind it that thin.

I have to second the thanks to Chuck Burrows, the video helped my sheath making alot.

Thanks for showing the knife

Charles,

Thank you for the kind words. It helped starting out with 1/16" stock. Wasn't as bad as I had anticipated as it was just a couple of passes on the 12" wheel. Flat grinding a Japanese chef's knife out of 1/16" stock.....now that is challenging for me.
