Filet knives

They look nice, but there is a good chance you'll get a "new" one which has no relation to its history and lineage, you are much better off looking at brands that are still operated as knife companies (not outdoor lifestyle brands).
For the price, I like the Buck Silvercreek fillet knives, but I bet if you answer these few questions you will get some very good suggestions.
What is your price range?
What size and species of fish do you normally go for?
What design feature or style really speaks to you?
There are a lot of guys here who will tell you their favorite, but they also probably know one that will work better for how you intend to use it.

My favorite is the USA Made Schrade 147OT. To get a USA made 147 you may have to search online. It sharpens easy, cuts extremely well, has the flex you need and has an easy to grip handle. The orange color makes it easy, and the nylon sheath protects the blade. Nothing fancy, was inexpensive when new and still performs well today. There were many great USA made fillet knives.
