52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 creating a fine grain structure throughout the blade. Proper heat treating is especially important for a knife this thin that is flexed when used.
Flat to a slight convex grind
Professionally stabilized maple burl handle
