Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles with attention to a fine grain structure. (Proper heat treating is especially important on a filet knife because of the way is is flexed when used)
Flat to a slight convex grind
Professionally stabilized figured maple handle with brass guard and natural Micara spacers
Overall length: 11 3/4 inches
Blade: 6 3/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
