Filing Machetes

Let me make sure I've got this straight, petah. You're out hacking through the jungle all morning, and you've worked up quite an appetite, so you use your machete to dice up some onions and potatoes for a spot of chowder. Peeling a cucumber and slicing up a tomato takes just a minute, and after a refreshing meal, you've regained the energy to slash through the jungle once again.

I must say, that machete is one versatile tool, if you can keep from hacking through a patch of poison ivy or devil's club.

... the machete is a very versatile tool. I often use it to make wiener roasting sticks, I use it to cut ribs/steak, open up cans of beans, etc etc... It's not just for slashing through the bush.
