fillet knife

hi all im making a fillet knife out of some 1095 steel 1/16 thick my question is should i grind the bevels on such a thin steel before heat treating it or no
 
If it were me, I would heat treat then grind the bevels. That will help reduce possible warping on such thin steel.

Just grind slow and cool often. You should be fine.

Brave soul, grinding that 1/16 inch material.

Do all the heat treat first and grind the bevels with a brand new belt.
