Filling a small hole in irondwood?

i have neve rused the spray harderner stuff but have many times back filled with CA then jsut sand and buf to the finish i wanted

Sorry. I use a spray hardener called Flash Tac. It doesn't turn CA white. I just checked, and I'm not sure it's available any more.
If anyone knows a good accelerator that doesn't turn CA whit, I'd like to know about it.

It's my fault Bill for using a new CA and hardener without trying it before hand. I usually use Zip Kicker and never had that happen before. I'll see if it's that or the new CA brand I am using.

Patrice maybe give this a shot- When I used to do this a lot on burl oak I would drip in all the thin
CA it would take. If it began to dimple but while the thin was still wet, a drop or two of the thick.
Let it dry overnite and if necessary repeat the process. Usually turned out water clear everytime.

I have filled dozens of small holes like that with Loctite Gel Type Super Glue and they always come out looking great.
