Gentlemen, I bought these two knives on a whim and are unsure if I want to keep them for the long term.
Thought I'd give some of you real collectors out there a chance at them. With the upcoming ban to take effect soon, I would think the chance of these getting produced again are very slim. Here's your chance at genuine elephant (not mammoth) ivory.
First is a brand new Northwoods Hawthorne, Clip Point in Elephant Ivory scales. This was from the recent run at KSF. Comes with KSF leather pocket sheath, still in plastic bag with desiccant. Taking photos under fluorescent lights proved difficult. The spots you see reflecting on the shiny flats of the blade are oil droplets. The knife still has a layer of oil on the blade from the factory. Nice, big knife that is one of the last remaining chances to get "new" elephant ivory before the ban takes effect. Asking $400 obo.
