The following knives are available for sale only. No trade offers please. All prices include PayPal fees, Priority Mail insured with Delivery Confirmation. The confirmation # (tracking #) will then be emailed to buyer when shipped. I will accept PayPal or postal money orders (same price). Worldwide ok but PayPal only and will be actual shipping costs.
All are mint, unsharpened, uncarried, and without boxes unless mentioned.
Downs, James F. custom fixed - 4” mirror polished blade (unknown steel but probably 440C or ATS-34) – 1/8” thick steel stock - 8 9/16” overall length - nice 1 ¼” area of filework on top of blade spine - very nicely striped wood handle (Tiger maple?) – mosaic center pin – blade ink-etched “J. DOWNS KNIVES – 1998 – Londonderry, Oh.” - member of the Knifemakers Guild - nicely made brown leather pouch sheath - $115.00 - SOLD
McFall, Ken custom skinner fixed – 4 ¼” mirror polished ATS-34 steel blade – 9 3/8” overall length – 7/32” thick steel stock – nicely tapered tang with beautiful filework on top area on handle – the filework was then filled in with black liner material (very nicely done) - nicely figured ironwood handle – highly polished nickel silver bolsters that are also dovetailed for a nice touch of class – mosaic pins – blade ink-etched “K. McFall LAKESIDE, AZ” - nicely textured brown leather pouch sheath - $175.00 - SOLD
Miller, J. P. (Jim) custom fixed – 3” mirror-polished blade of 1095 steel – 1/8” steel stock – 7” overall length - man-made orange amber handle – knife made in mid-90’s – this is one of two knives made like this – nice brown leather pouch-style sheath made from 9 oz. cowhide – Mr. Miller is a longtime voting member of the Knifemakers Guild - $115.00 - $100.00 - SOLD
Norton, Don custom small skinner fixed – 3 ¼” mirror polished blade (unknown steel but could be 440C?) – 1/8” thick steel stock - 7 1/16” overall length – nicely patterned ironwood handle – polished nickel silver bolsters that are also dove-tailed for a nice touch of class – brass pins – blade is ink-etched “KNIVES by NORTON – Farmington NM – DON NORTON” - very nice fitted leather sheath with outstanding toolwork all over (sheath stamped “Norton”
