How about a Gayle Bradley 2??? CF/G-10, similar to the Stretch in blade shape, hourglass clip and you can open it with gloves on. If you don't need stainless and M4 will work for you it's a great knife.

When it comes to the wire clip on the D’Allara, I wouldn't let it hold you back if you've never tried one. I prefer them over the hourglass clip by far.
