Finally been bitten by the bug

thanks for the kind words and wallet scaring encouragement guys!

question. number 2 is in the future, what would be a good mid sized chopper in the 300-400$ range?

A good midsized chopper would be the current ASH1. They can be had right in that price range directly from Busse. Another good option is a BATACLE.

+1.....you can't go wrong with either choice. If you decide to get an ASH be quick about it...don't think they will be around much longer direct from busse.

ASH1 all the way. I love the BATACLE, but the ASH1 is just a better choice.

On top of the design, the surface finish under the coating appears to be unusually 'sweet' -- pretty close to a DCBB. So, get a coated ASH1, beat it to death, and then strip it! :D

What I am most suprised about is the weight of the GW, very heavy for its size it seems. Very sturdy. I can imagine something like a battle mistress to be even heavier. That would make it great for its intended purchase for sure.

This is one of the thicker ones, the .140s are much lighter. Why you'll evenually need one in .140, .170, .20, .22 and the .270.

You think that sounds like crazy talk I bet...just wait till the bug really gets you:eek:

Congrats on your first Busse, great Knife and pic:thumbup:

yup im bit by the bug as well...bought my first busse a few weeks ago (.27 GW) and now I have a FFBM on the way! :D

Congrats!!

Congrats on your first Busse. You're in trouble now:D
Can't comment on the Ash1 yet.

But any Busse fan must at least have (had) one of the Steel Hearts:thumbup:

Ah, yes... The 'Skunk Warden... Very nice combo! :D:thumbup: ...Wait until ya get that ASH... THEN you're gonna be HOOKED!!! :D:thumbup::thumbup:

Sweet knife.

Nice pic of the watch and the second hand, that's pretty cool looking. How'd you do it?

It kind of gives away the answer lol. I lowered the lighting a little bit, cranked up the aperture and did a long exposure.. 6 seconds actually. you can count the seconds on the watch, one tic spot per second. Longer exposures like that bring in more detail as the camera gets a better look. I also photoshopped the lighting and got rid of some dust
