Finally can post pic of my meager collection

Meager? Hardly. That is a fine collection you have there.

I especially like that little Al Mar at the bottom. A civilized man's tool.

Those Paul Defenders are very cool. I’m interested in knowing how well the locking mech has worked on your Paul knives. I bought a basic model a few months after they were first released. After a day of playing with it the blades became real lose and would actually rattle in the open position. I returned the knife and got another one – same thing happened. I ended up returning it and moving on to a different purchase. I loved the knife design, but I just couldn’t deal with the slop in the lock up. Maybe there was an issue early on? Just curious to know if you’ve had better luck.
BTW – very nice collection.

None of mine have had an issue with slop, although I only open a knife when I am going to use it. Maybe in time there will be an issue, as for now they are as tight as the day I brought them home.
Sorry for the lag in response.

That is one of my favorites also, I carry it on the 1st & 3 Monday of every month. Fits nicely in the pants pocket of my business attire. It is in the rotation with the Paul Knives.

Everyone should have an Old Timer in their collection. Classic American-made cutlery, the original EDC knives. :)

One of my favorite Old Timer knives is the 51OT. An unusual model, rather uncommon, and very collectible if it's an original USA-Schrade.

I rescued this from my Father in law, who was trying to sharpen it with a coarse Flat bastard file. He has had it since 1981. I took it to my knife guy for an edge re-profile, this pic was taken after that.
