Those honeycomb scales are awesome. I just can't get over the fact that scales are so expensive...I could probably buy a whole new Delica for $50...Once I have too many knives in my collection, then I can start getting custom scales haha

Well let me start off by stating $50.00 is not too much for custom scales! You need to shop around a little and that will become quite apparant. The scales in this thread were made for me and the workmanship is first class. Chris went way beyond what most makers are willing to do on a project like this. Prototyping a set of nested liner scales for a knife is no small undertaking and to my knowledge he is the only one currently making CNC machined G10 scales for the Spyderco Delica. He is a straight shooter and you will not be disappointed in his work.
Thanks Chris!

To further clairify, the Delica is an inexpensive knife but in my opinon one of the best EDC knives Spyderco has to offer. The only thing it lacked IMHO was a quality handle material. With Chris's scales you can have this. Spyderco's greatest carry knife now becomes outstanding riviling knives in the $100 to $150 range!

I'm not saying his scales are expensive compared to other scales, I'm saying compared to the knife itself, it's expensive for me. Scales are more of a luxury and while they would be nice, I would almost rather put that money towards a new knife. These scales are really enticing though...Maybe once I get my tax refund I'll get a set.

Those look really great. I REALLY hope you decide to do these for the Endura someday soon. I would have to have a few colors of those.
