  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Finally Done!

The shape is very artful. I love it, so don't get me wrong - I am not being critical - beautiful lines but unusual enough that it warrants some hands on testing. I've been trying to imagine how to use it and so Myke gives me some focus. On the other hand - how useful would it be for food prep  (not game but vegetables for example)? Is 3-1/2" the cutting edge or the tip to handle?

AND - please don't call it "the Dachshund" With due respect to Dachshund lovers everywhere (and I know you added a :D to your comment Mack) but I think this tag would be a knife marketing catastrophe. Poor John having to sell a little dog of a knife when in fact it is a unique and very classy new style - more evocative of an elegant bird or a lethal raptor. Just sayin'

Point well taken.:D It is very talon like but I do love and respect Doxies. They are absolutely fearless and their minds are as sharp as that blade.

I am scheduled to be home on the 3rd of Sept. Please forgive me if I start posting a lot of pictures of this blade. I have a feeling it's going to get a lot of use.
