This little knife took way too much time to make. It was a real challenge. Friday night the whole thing almost ended up in the scrap pile. The blade is 5/32" thick CPM 154 3.75" long with a two tone, mirror / satin finish. The handle is 4.5" long with a tapered tang. The bolsters are 416 stainless steel with maple burl slabs. The overall length is 8.5" long. Thanks for looking!

Holy crap!!! That is beautiful John. I would totally buy that if it weren't an order. Awesome job

That is absolutely beautiful! It looks like a natural progression from the little tiger maple handled blade I bought from you waaaaayyy back. :)

That's a stunner, John.

It nearly looks like an integral; your fitting of the bolsters to the blade is exceptional.

Hahahha, I have to laugh at your statement about the scrap heap. I find myself doing the same thing. I ended up having someone tell me that you are just not going to turn out something perfect, or without some blemishes, just finish it.
I really like the way your knife turned out. I'm glad you decided to finish it and think the person getting it will be glad you did too.

*Making mental note to occasionally drop by and sift through his scrap pile...*

:D

Very nice

Thanks all. Seriously, this thing was looking like it wasn't gonna come together. I pulled it out. I had on of those time where you try to fix something some and mess up 3 or 4 things. I put it down Friday and started backed Saturday. Turned out nice. Thanks again everyone!
