Hi guys, I finally finished my small run of HMMWV knives. The design is based off of Blackjack's old mamba knife. I'm making them for a Hummer/HMMWV group I belong to. I wanted to post them on the gallery but not enough permissions yet :D

Blade: 440C
Temper: Rc58-59 + cryo'd
Coating: TiAlN
Handle: G10/F4 Garolite

I was having a hard time capturing the actual color of the blade. In the pics above it looks a lot lighter than it actually is due to the flourescent lighting. Here's a better pic of the actual color.

Oh I forgot to add, I'll be sending them to get personalized Laser etching on the other side (a HMMWV lineart pic and a personalized message). According to the Laser guy, he'll use enough power to burn through the coating and actually burn the metal to a black color. So the logo and message should actually be annealed into the steel. Black on Grey.
