FINALLY found a 1760DAM, I had to tell someone (that understands, aka NOT my wife :D)

Sorry bro that sucks, I woulda jumped on that like stink on poo-poo. Where did you see that at, a garage sale? That is a CRAZY price! I have usually seen them on the bay for around $300 or more, but they don't sell when they start at that price.

It was at the Nation's Gun Show in Chantilly, Va.

I am just perplexed that these go for that much after all Kershaw says they will make more. When comparing it to the Tilt the Tilt should go for a grand, it is ten times the knife and will not be made again.

Sure wish I would have waited to sell the 2 I had.

Well dave if you happen to part with a 1760rd or first production run skyline, let me know and I can probably save you the ebay fees.

I pmed him like 10 min after the thread went up offering money instead of trade. (He tipped me off as well). Just waiting a response to see how firm he is on trading it.

Well, I came in dead last on that one... Oh well! I hope you can snag it Brent. If he gets insistent on a trade, just give him whatever he wants! :D:thumbup:

I'm a hoarder, lol I'm the guy who buys gift knives and like holds onto the box tight when I hand it over. I just want a response because I would like a serious shot at it

I hope you get it Brent. I know you've been wanting one for awhile.

Sticktodrum: "I got...things" just cracked me up$

Dave, I found some money in the couch (so what if my wife's purse was on the couch, fair game in common areas right? :)), all paid up on the 1760DAM, schweeet!

I hope you get it as well, not just first production, but freaking #1!!. That would be THE first of THE first production knife made by KAI period right?!?! That should be in a KAI museum or something... too bad no box :(.

No its just 1 of 500, all 500 of them say the same thing. Still def trying for the collection

Wow I can't believe they are going for this much!! I bought 2 of these when they first released them for around $44 each and I gave one to my dad for a birthday present. The other is still sitting in my safe nib never used. Makes me tempted to sale it!

Just got a shipping notification for a BNIB for $55 from a knife store online. I'm excited. I preordered back in July.. Lol
