This is the first guitar rosette I've made myself. Made from desert ironwood scraps, black fiber spacer, and zipflex abalone.
 
Very cool. O'm becoing increasingly enamored with the woodworking arts, and this is a fine example.
 
What is it? I can't make out what I'm looking at.

It's a guitar rosette. It's the decoration around the soundhole. I'll try to post a picture showing the entire soundboard.
