Finally found my perfect EDC!!!

After trial after trial, I have finally found my Perfect EDC. I have a Leatherman Blast on my belt and a Spyderco Native clipped to my right front pocket and a Buck 371 Stockman that I got today, in my left front pocket. I love this combo. Although I would like to add that I would rather have a Leatherman Wave instead of the Blast but the Blast is a good tool and its not as heavy. Ill get the Wave when I get the money. Oh and I still carry a Victorinox on my keychain. I cant leave out the Swiss knives, I love em.

oh yeah sorry about not mentioning the flash light. I have 2 on me all of the time. I have a mag solitare around my neck and a rayovac pen light that I carry in my shirt pocket. Also I have a small Bic lighter that I carry in my pocket also.

He's got pockets that jingle jangle jingle.....

So do I.

Actually not much jiggle jiggle at all. The Mag solitare is around my neck on a chain and the pen light is in my shirt pocket. It looks just like an ordianary pen. I have started wearing button up shirts with a pocket instead of T shirts because having that shirt pocket lets me keep my cell phone and pen light there. I hate carrying my cell phone on my side or in my pants pocket.

Can you list the events of a typical work day? And do you live in a city with normal utilities and convieniences? Also, what do you do for work?

Or are you an alaskan hermit?

My EDC is a Spyderco Para Military D2, Leatherman Charge XTi, and a little SAK on the key chain but it is always changing and I have to carry that new BM 913D2 Stryker sometime soon, but the Para is just so perfect, as of right now alteast.

And I forgot my Surefire E1L dual output model, and I love that one too and that is not changing anytime soon.

Typical work day for me is working on my farm and lots of Tractor riding. Cutting firewood and splitting it with a wood splitter. Im not working right now because of an injury I had awhile back and I lost a kidney. Before my injury I was a deputy with the sheriff dept. I am hoping to go back to work next month. If that happens then Ill have to change my EDC because of a duty belt. I wear Overalls alot so I really dont have any problems carrying with those on. Yes I may be a little paranoid by carrying what I carry but I have had some events in my life that has made me that way. I dont live in the city, I live in the country and have for all of my life. I dont even know what living in the city would be like. My wife says I am a hermit (jokingly) all of the time, so you may have a point there. My dad had Heart Bypass Surgury about 4 months ago and he isnt bouncing back the way we hoped he would so I try to help him alot by doing his chores for him on a daily basis, mainly which is getting firewood up because he uses wood heaters to heat his house. I live about 35 miles from the nearest town and I have 2 daughters (12 and 18) and a wife 35, she is a R.N. My mom and dad live across the road from me and I have family for 2 miles on our road from either direction. We have been on the same land since the Civil War. I live in the same spot that my Great Great Grandfather lived on. I am blessed to be were I am.

Sounds like a great lifestyle, Wildone. It is good to have the continuity of the land and family. You are a fortunate man indeed.

Thanks A.P.F., i think I am fortunate. I hear alot of people on here talk of the sheepie type people and I am lucky that I could go were ever I want with a bowie knife on my side if I wanted to and no one would think twice about it. I dont of course but I could. I really want a Leatherman Wave because if I had that I would just carry it and the slippie of some sort.

Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble Wildone, but you only think you have "found my perfect EDC!". It is actually a fallacy, and I ain't talking about the Washington Monument, that ANYONE can actually find the "perfect edc". No, rather it is a long, long journey that one must take, and in the end, you only find the "perfect edc", before the "newest perfect edc" comes out.:D;) Please take this with the humor that is intended.:)

Folks: I am curious as to why I never see any mention of the Spderco Stretch ZDP-189 when it comes to EDC?
