Thank you, Garth!Man that is insane. God definitely had his hand on your family for you all to make it out of that kind of sheer destructive power.
Thank you. That is something. I hope insurance took care of what they should.
Glad your family is ok.
Things great news, and Im glad to hear it.Thank you.
On a little down time- had a mower tire go bad and am currently waiting to have it fixed
But, yes sir, our Auto Insurance really did come thru -
Our Insurer, NC Farm Bureau was really great - my Agent, Donna, with whom I've been with since I got my license no less, was great
But, I will say & cannot recommend enough, is to get Replacement Insurance if you have a new vehicle or can qualify for it
It's the most expensive auto insurance & I remember quite well, that when we bought that truck Donna had went ahead and just put in on my policy
The next couple days later the wife and I went up there to sign the paperwork and I started to balk on that expensive replacement insurance; when Donna told me exactly what it was - still i was bull headed enough to just ask for regular comprehensive collision - when my wife (God Bless her) told me to be quite and pay for the replacement insurance as she and Donna thought it was a great idea & it certainly was!
Fellas, i was so very fortunate when I bought that truck, as it was in March '21 right before things went insane as far as auto prices go
I paid $45k and when I lost it, it had 50,000 miles and 4 years old as far as when the next year models come out.
Farm Bureau cut me a check for $60,000 for that truck & they didn't even have possession of it - they were good enough to go ahead and let me sign the title over and everything to them even without knowing where it was for the matter - they tried to locate it with On-Star but that didn't work
At any rate, NC Farm Bureau really came thru
We had the same coverage on my wife's Highlander as well - our daughters car we only had the regular comp/collision but, we bought it at a good enough deal that what FB gave us was enough to pay it off + a little extra - now what we were so concerned about was that darn 5th wheel - it's like a boat if ya know what I mean. - but again, the little wife knew what she was doing when she made drive all the way to Pennsylvania to buy the darn thing when we did because it was $10k cheaper than anywhere in the Carolinas, Virginia & Tennessee & Georgia too
What Farm Bureau gave us for the 5th wheel was just enough to pay it off
But, absolutely none of that would've been possible w/out The Good Lord watchin out for us - i just cannot thank Him enough
And of course all His people that helped us as well with other matters
