Yeah, this folder and an ancient fixed blade of unknown make bring back many memories of playing in the woods. Using them to take the bark off the straightest sticks we could find to make "swords". Many a tall weed fell on those days. Heh.

That's one of the things that I think is great about a pocket knife. It's something you can always have with you so you can attach so many memories to it. It's like a time capsule that only you can open.

Congrats on your find. I have very similar experience with Andi. I keep my vey first pocket knife that was bought for me still on my desk... I was like 9 or 10 when I got it which makes it nearly 20 years old... Will post picture of that wonderous Victorinox. I pleaded my mom buy it for me after seeing very first episode of MacGyver and saw wonderous things MacGyver did with it...
