Finally getting better at this sharpening !!!!

Pit Good to see your convexing your edges. I generaly start on my diamond hone then transfer to wet dry on leather. I finish with a strop.

I use croc sticks...need to get a stone and sand paper.

Just picked up some good quality japanese waterstones, 800 and 4000 grit. Used lots of old school stones but treated myself at Lee Valley the other day.

Any suggestions on technique with these stones or is it basically the same. I seem to have a computer chip when I freehand and always get an almost perfect V edge. Now that I own some convexed edged blades I don't want lose the profile.
