Some friends and I here at college desided to go camping this weekend. We will be heading to Nunns Park up Provo Canyon if it's open. We picked that spot because it's close, has nice facilities, Pretty with good hikes and relatively inexpencive. That and all the places down south that I know of got fresh snow a week ago. - Edited to add: Nunn's park isn't open as of today, the county is working on it. If they don't have it open by Friday we will go to either Willow Park or Lincoln Beach Park. They are both farther away from Provo but open and rather nice accourding to pics. - end edit.

It's been way to long since I went Camping (Mid July last year). Back in 2000 to 2003 I went camping at least 5 times a year and went on plenty more day trips. The last few years I've been lucky to get out once for a campout and maybe twice for hikes.

Lost my Retail job I've had for 3 years about a month and a half ago. Should be getting a new Monday through Friday job here in a week or two so the plan is lots of camping, shooting and other out door trips. Saturday the 12th some friends and I went shooting and on the way home we talked about camping, then finallized most things late last night. Job interview for new job is this afternoon. I'm way more excited about the campout then the new job even though it should be better hours and pay then my last one. IT does also permit me to camp more but it's not camping... Is that normal?

So, who else is going camping this spring? Got pics? I've been ready to bust out of here since Febuary 25th when the Robins started singing.
