http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1088133-SPYDERCO-many-hard-to-find

This is explanation and warning to other guys here on BF.

Seller was dishonest about and item. I purchased Spyderco Military Black Half-serrated from Leeble611.
I took his word over e-mail pics (that he promised to send and never did). His text message to me " Tonite ill send. They are nib. They are both perfect". Money order was sent on 07/15/13. Got knife today 07/29/13. Knife is far away from being perfect ( I will post pics of the actual knife tonight) and text msg pictures will be up tonight. Also his attitude needs a lot of adjustment.
It was only $80. But who knows what kind of "perfect" item he will try to sell next.

Guys be warned. I PERSONALLY WILL NOT DEAL EVER WITH THIS GUY AGAIN.

Did you contact him first before starting this thread?

I had a dispute with a member about the condition of a knife upon arrival. We were able to work it out the same day and resolved the matter without problem. I just found that some people's idea of great condition, or LNIB differs from others. As many have said before, "Deals not done until both parties are satisfied."

Some questions and observations here:
1. Why would you not accept pictures via text? It is very easy to text photos to any email address on the planet, same amount of keystrokes. He does say that he will provide pictures.
2. The thread does not indicate the condition of the knives. This is not acceptable as far as a listing is concerned. However, it is what it is, and it is fully up to the buyer to ask for photos. If the seller refuses to provide photos, that is the part where common sense indicates "move on".
3. The buyer was not forced to purchase the item, you could have waited for photos.
4. There are still no pictures provided by you to verify your own claims of being burned.
5. Claims of bad attitudes are subjective without any proof. By making these claims you put your own credibility on the line. Accusations without any proof can be devastating to bother people, especially when they end up being unfounded.

You being the new guy here, him being a member for years leaves a lot of room for various people to speculate on your own credibility. Another thing, you have not indicated that you made any attempts to contact him and express your dissatisfaction with the item. Does Leeble even know about this thread? Has he been given an opportunity to make it right? Or was he raked over the coals immediately? The devil is in the details.

tried to send pics he couldn't receive them and told him 100 percent refund if not satisfied which is still the case as for attitude we will alk about that offline but I will gladly try to forward my texts to whom ever needs to see them

Well, I just spoke to Leeble on the phone and this seems like it was complete overkill. We have a right and a wrong way to do things. Darkpast, this is clearly not the right way to do things. Leeble is more than willing to issue you a refund should you simply return the knife. He tried texting you and has yet to hear back. I certainly hope for your own benefit, you can understand why this is a mess.

This seems to be happening a lot. People don't communicate and the leave negative feedback without trying to resolve like adults.

Maybe applicable here, maybe not but another instance where I see the benefit of having been a member for a certain period of time and or coupled with a membership level before being allowed to do business in the exchange.

At least you would have a better understanding from having been around a bit to know how to better handle these situations and that starting a thread in GB&U is a last resort after all else has failed. Not a knee jerk first reaction.

Why? I do not think I should explain myself, but here: it's simple my phone plan has unlimited regular text and calls ( but can't accept pictures) for more information contact CBW.

Also it takes me some time to get home, take pictures, and upload them(knife at home as well as camera). I work for living 12-14 hours a day and not on the Internet 24/7. And NO I do not have Internet access, unless I can catch FREE WIFI
Yes I am new guy here? And he is old member and what? I see that no matter what I will say it will be pointless, RevDevil. This Thread was put for "educational purposes" not to bash reputation. I contacted seller via txt and Thanked him very much (for the opportunity to return the knife for 100% refund).
You can go ahead and ban me if I broke rule/s. I will close this thread now after putting pictures on. If you think it's not done right....go on and delete this. You have capabilities. Thank you. This is water under the bridge.
