• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

FINALLY got one, pics inside

the more i carry it, the more i like it
and it seems to be getting alot of compliments at work when people see it

just heavy enough to stay in my pocket, but light enough i dont notice it until i need it
gorgeous amber bone scales and scary sharp cv steel (unfortunately i havent had any time to take more pics or start a patina so my blades are still shiny-shiny :p)

the pen blade is the real gem of this knife, its wonderfully shaped and sized for opening boxes, letters etc etc. Its got a funny shape, not quite a normal pen blade, almost but not quite a wharncliff shape (just a little upsweep at the tip)...but its been undeniably handy

Nice looker that one is:thumbup:
Congrats! Good things come to those that wait...Love that Case Amber Bone!

ok, its been a week and i FINALLY got a chance to get some more pics
after a week, i still love it, she is still my precious :D

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful knife.

Has anyone ever gotten a bad one of these? So far, all I've seen have been consistently great.

Very nice knife. In my very humble opinion the 2 blade jack is the quintessential american knife. As close to perfection ss you can get.

That is a fine example. Hope you enjoy it buddy.

thanks all!

definitely enjoying it
haven't got any complaints, but my sample size on these texas jacks are admittedly pretty small :p

yeah i like that, quintessential american knife :D

just a couple more pics

here it is with my new green alox classic, so these are now my new edc combo (very happy)

I already posted this in the What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today? thread but figured I would post it here to since this is the thread that inspired its purchase.

ok so its been just over a month, and i wanted to do some progress pics
the blade is definitely getting a patina, but i dont think the bone scales have started mellowing yet

note its a much cloudier day than when i took the pics a month ago

I like your Before & After pics... Somehow, I´m thinking about getting a Texas Jack CV by my own right now... (I didn´t want to buy a knife until ending of this year)
