I was walking up to my front door and what do I see? A small rectangular package. I immediately snatched it up and ran in the house like a little boy on Christmas. I finally received my NWA knife from Nick. Man this thing is great and razor sharp! Talk about quality and craftsmanship. The handle fits like a glove for me since I have medium-large size hands. Thanks Nick for this beautiful piece of work.
I only managed to take a couple of pics of the NWA knife and the mora 510 that I left outside last night on the deck. So I decided so like a good formite I decided to test the NWA knife and my Mora 510 out at making a fuzzy sticks. I only took a couple of pics but I intend taking more as I go.

I didn't put much effort in making these so bear with me. The NWA didn't take that much effort to carve the fuzzy stick. Once again I was really surprised on the sharpness of this blade. Hopefully when I get the chance I will get better action pics on my next trip out.

Now I just have to figure out if the edge is convexed or V and what do you guys use to sharpen it if it is convexed?
Thanks for looking.

Hey congrats and great pics! ANd yep it truly is a great knife, like you I really like the handle. It just fits so well. It's not a convex edge, I just use a Sharpmaker or whatever means I have closest to give it quick touchups. The O1 sharpens up real quick too.

congrats... you're going to love it... :D they're awesome knives... meant to be used...

Thanks Gil, I'm truly happy you like it. I'm always a bit concerned that if it will stand up to everyones expectations. I try and make em as close to perfect as I can:thumbup:

I am now starting on the second list of folks who ordered one after the close of the first run. I hope to be through this list by mid-late summer.

Thanks for all of the support everyone.

Nick:)

What? You have Sun and Green Grass in that Picture.:)

BTW Congrats on the New Knife.:thumbup:

555: Yes we have green grass and sun. It seems that this years winter in NJ turn out to be very short and lame.

Mike and Troop: It is definitely going to be used on most of my outdoor trips.

Tknife: Thanks for the help in the beginning with getting started. Thanks for the tip too about sharpening it too.
