• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Finally landed that special Kickin' Chicken

Thank you for the photos of the lockback whittlers. I need to find one of those!

I know a few of you guys have some of these pretties, so please post 'em if ya got 'em.

I don't have one but here's a scan of the Ulster lockback whittler in a 1930 store catalog page. I also have photos of our chickens if you'd like to see them. ;)

Man,what a great looking knife.FR always had the best looking pearl.

I collect Captain's Roosters too, especially the whittlers. I don't have a LB Whittler yet, but I have a friend who has two and he has offered one to me the next time we meet up. I'm gonna get it and a couple of others. Fight'n Roosters were my first love of slipjoint collecting. I even went and saw ole Cuz at his shop in Lebanon, TN back around 2000.

BTW, awesome pearl:thumbup:

Man, that's a beauty, congrats!

I just discovered the pattern and got a S&M Premier. I have a weakness for whittlers... :D

I'm so confused. I thought this was a thread about Wild Turkey 101, which is much more dangerous.

Never mind and carry on.

Rick.....

I do enjoy a good looking Pearl Rooster....but here's a real Kicken Chicken....
