I love the handle feels warm in the hand and how the knife cuts, thanks Josh for the great edge. This is the anorexic model and I am glad I got it.

Congrats on your first piece of INFI! Good luck resisting the urge to buy more!! :D

Marty,

I didn't realize that was your first slice of INFI! The Basic 4 is definitely a great introduction to INFI. Enjoy it!

Congrats on your first piece of infi!!! The Basic 4 is a perfect first knife

Nice - I try and remember what it was like getting my first real knife. I had hung around the boards for a few years and kept seeing this crazy activity around these Busse knives - but wow, they were like $200 -$300 !! Oh I miss those days...

And great choice in the Basic4. It is one sweet knife. Fits my hand well and I love the deep blade.

Congrats and welcome! Its a wonderful place :)

Awesome Congrats on the INFI. I got mine about a month ago and love it. Mines a scapper 5 le in infi. One day Ill have a few.

Thanks for the kind words and welcome! I have always wanted a BUSSE since I realised the quality of it.

The Basic 4 is a great knife and I can see a LONG future with it. I have some Swamp Rats as well, the Rodent Solution and Swamp Warden, but holy crap INFI!

It strops so easy, holds an edge well. Actually much better then I anticipated. I understand the facination with it!

Some light chopping (the tree is very old and soft so no real effort on this)
