finally ordered a Fallkniven F1

well it just arrived and is currently dangling from my belt. the weight and size is nice, and i am impressed with the quality of the leather.
the grip is a really nice fit in my hands but i will have to put it to some use tonight. gonna burn some wood in my new firepit.

I have had a F1 since 2009. A great blade , it came aharp and stays sharp.

Enjoy it in the woods , it will become your friend and edc.
 
ok...i have one complaint. not really a complaint, but i like to carry a fixed blade as an edc along with a folder and i feel that the factory sheath just wont cut it(no pun intended)....it just seems too bulky for the knifes size. dont get me wrong, its very well made, and i will use it when i camp/hunt, but i want something a bit higher riding and without the flap for easier access. not fond of kydex, but im open to all suggestions. can a fella get a little help here? ive searched but cant really find what im looking for. until then it'll ride in a sharpshooter pocket sheath, but i would like to carry it on my belt.
