Finally ordered a Native 5 G10 and...

I don't own a Delica (yet) but compared to my Dragonfly 2 the difference is tremendous. I can't believe how solid and confidence inspiring it is. Mine has absolutely zero play in any direction, even after being somewhat broken in. Also, I can tighten the pivot even more than I have it right now without impeding the opening of the knife, which is really confidence inspiring for the future. From what I understand, Spyderco redesigned their backlock for this model and it really shows. I was a little unsure about the design myself, but this knife has definitely changed my mind!

And those give me even more the wish to pick one in G10 ! I would like to have a Native 5 with wood.
Don't know if wood handles could be possible with the FRN.

You can buy it with closed eyes ;)
The Native 5 FRN is a great beast but lightweight EDC :cool:
 
Wow, your photos are excellent! Glad you figured out how to finally post them!

Mind if I ask where abouts you are in VT?
Had some friends who lived up in the NEK and I loved it there. Spent a lot of time riding @ Burke and Kingdom... you hear a lot of French out in those woods, haha
