Finally!!!. . . Pics Of The Green And Maroon Canvas Micarta Handle Material ! ! ! !

That is awesome! My WTF is going to look really nice with the black blade/maroon micarta. I'm even more jazzed than I was before!!

Maroon looks like it's got oil on it for sure with different shades of color, green looks clean but could be wrong.

Yeah, it's hard to tell. But I think you'd be able to see the threads in the canvas more clearly if it was dry, based on all the canvas micarta I have. That's what I'm going off of anyway. Hopefully Jerry chimes in.

ETA - I think the green would look more like in the below photo when dry.

Thanks for the pics Jerry! Helps a lot!!!

Can you do us a favor though? Can you scrub those in hot water with Dawn dish soap (or whatever you use) to clean them, and then dry them off and take another pic so we can see what they look like clean and dry? TIA!

This please!

This is what I was thinking as well. Can't see the fibers very good in the first pic.

If they look like this pic, I'll be happy still. Would like to see how the maroon will look clean and dry.

I'm thinking they are dry, the black canvas on my BGAD's looked like the pics Jerry posted of the maroon and green.

I believe they are being cut with much sharper tools, resulting in less fibers fraying out of the resin, just a guess.

I cruised the exchange for some pics. Some do show the fibers a bit less, but some still show like this pic I borrowed.

Been waiting for that green canvas a long time.. Now to bring back the jungle green or od blade paint

I love to look at the knife handles from another knife maker on the form cough (Fiddleback) cough, would like to see Busse magic applied to burlap scales. Maybe on an Elmax Steak Knife?

Mighty dang fine micarta Mr. BUSSE!

Well done. Not too many manufacturers lay it down for their fans the way you do!

OUT-DANG-STANDING!!!
