That man said the Magic Word....STAG!

Now if I can get you and Jerry to say it I'll order the knife right now. :D

Phil,
Trust me, if we could FIND 500 pairs of premium stag, we would be all over it! You might have heard, there is a bit of a shortage of availibity of that stuff.....

But we are always looking, and dreaming. Thanks for the interest!

An exceptional looking knife!! Thank you Mr. Fennell and Mr. Fisk. Will definately need to have one of these.

It is times like this in which we truly need a drooling smiley :) Will and Jerry: looks like you guys did a friggin' awesome job!! I cannot wait to get mine, it'll be the closest I'll ever come to owning a custom Fisk...

Will & Jerry,
Awesome looking knife. Congrats.

Now for everyone else,
The blade thickness should be right on the money.
It will be a fast knife and the balance is probably great. BTW, you really don't need thick stock for a knife like this. Just my $0.02

I think it's great, and contrary to another earlier opinion,I think the blade thickness is fine,it's a knife not an axe.Great going you guys, hope to see more of this sort of thing.

OVB will be for traditional knives.

Bone, wood, stag, carbon steel, and BEST quality.

But Mr. Fennel you said stag first, you Big Teaser. :p

Okay, I'm ready for an armed invasion of India....Who's with me? :D

Ok PhilL, I'm with you all the way. India has no idea the trouble they are in now. :D

The blade thickness is perfect for me as I would not be using this knife for chopping. I like it when a large knife is lighter. Makes it faster as well.

Will, I will keep my eyes open for stag, but I doubt that I could come across that much. How about a smaller run, a special edition maybe? That would be .

Let me chime in that that is one FINE knife, 'production' or otherwise. THANKS!

Coop

Is it going to be available on-line? And when is it going to be released?

BTW, a question on those numbered runs: what happens to the mythical "1 of 500"? ;)

I have been looking at that puppy a good part of the day here and in the Camillus forum. I have never and I mean never seen a picture of a production fixed blade with a grind and shoulders that nice.
Well done guys!

Drooling smiley!
That sure is a looker!
As far as the stag/India thing goes...I say as soon as we are finished in the "Stans we hang a right turn and...
Invade India!
A big Thank You to the 2 F's :)

Well, now I know why you seemed so excited when you told me about this project, Jerry!
What a great knife!

Will

What Dexter said, in Spades!!!!!

Can't hardley wait.
Excuse me now. I have to go change shirts.

Sssooooo....where does one go to put in a request for one of these puppies?

Will, excellent job there, knife looks beautiful. Mr. Fisk certainly wouldn't put his name on just any knife, so I'm confident that this baby will fly!

Thanks for the pic, we do need some closeups of both the blade and handle...pretty please?:)

In 2002 Camillus will move up another rung on the factory ladder. This bowie is awesome!
The fit and finish is A-1
The steel is A-1
The maker is A-1
Camillus has done it again.

Look for great thing from Camillus in 2002!

I get to gloat a bit since I got the chance to handle the knife for a few minutes. It is nicer than it looks. I tried to talk Will into leaving it at the studio for awhile but with no luck. Camillus and Mr. Fisk both can be proud of this one!
