I remember how long it seemed to take to get to my first 100. Still working on my first 1000.
 
just hope Spark doesn't do another one of those mass-thread-deletions like he did a little while ago...

I only lost a few dozen, but some folks lost 100+ and a few others gained...?!?:confused:

Congrats, Rusty. And I felt my 500-post point was a biggie. You've topped that by a factor of 10.

I did only start in May 2002, and its July just ending now, and I have 630 (approx) posts, so thats like 210 posts per month...

Congrats, Rusty! We'll really appreciate and remember many of the 5000 posts are done while Uncle Bill's temporary absense, and did excellent moderation.

Been over a week and haven't heard a word from the doc who wanted to roto-rooter me.

And if he says anything to my referring physician he's got a lot of explaining to do. Cause I specifically put down IN WRITING he wasn't allowed to tell anybody but me.

By the way, BTC, I left the gun under the seat that trip. Next time I may well wear two. 13+1 cocked and locked for each hand and a few spare magazines. License even says I can carry two if'n I want.

Funnier still is I really am only an hour ( at Nevada cruising speeds ) from the East gate of Yosemite, about 75 miles North-North-East. Least I made it in under 60 minutes once when I was younger and didn't have my wife along. Haven't been in the place in years as had given up on driving through it in the middle to late '80's. It seemed populated by a specially selected set of idiots behind the wheel, on bikes, and on foot. Don't know if the brain damage was temporary or permanent, but something had obviously disrupted their mental functioning.
