Took a pic of my newest aquisitions: My Colt 1911 XSE Govt. and my Leaner Meaner SE. Sorry for the crappy pic...I'll have to get some more later. I've put about 500 rounds through the 1911 so far and it's AWESOME!!! Shoots like a dream! Only thing that sucks is that the ambi slide lock (lefty) won't fit with the scales....I'll have to figure that out later ;)

I don't have any pics of my 1911s and Busse's together... but here's a couple pics of my carry pieces...

Nick

Dear Santa, I want an XXXL NICK, Some Busse Grips for my 1911, one of the AMY-O Chef's knives......Signed Nick.....P.S. I have been very good this year.

Sweet 1911s guys. Hey Redsnake, which Nighthawk Custom model is that? How do you like it. I hear they are excellent 1911s. Someday:(

Sorry for the inferior pic, but I want to play, too. :D Not a gen-u-wine Colt but the next best thing: my custom Randall and GW.

A girl needs a knife...but a pistol doesn't hurt, either!

Paul, I tremble anytime you mention "pic" in a thread now, but that is one sweet combo.

If I can score some snake scales, I may buy a 1911 to go with them. :p

the Nighthawk Pictured above is a Talon I. I've had it for a long time... very low serial number. Actually bought it of a local one-man shop who was praising their virtues... and I won't even say what I bought this one for. Had it's twin in a Talon II and never shot it and sold it for more than I purchased it for... but those deals don't come around too often.

This one is Hard Chrome and the Black finish... can't remember what it's called, but very durable. Been a GREAT pistol and has never missed a beat in about 2K rounds. As accurate as can be. I highly recommend one if you can get one.

Kinda like Busse knives... some people question why a sane person would spend that kind of $$ for one... but those of us who have understand the "why" part quite well...

part of my carry rig...

You'll notice the 'old / early' logo...
