Unfortunately, it's gone now :( Just thought I'd share some pics of the fun I had for the one day this weekend that the snow stuck around.

Love snow covered scenery :)

nice pics. Man, what a winter, first snow in Maine? in January?

Blame it on El Nino.
That little kid can screw up North America's weather!

On the other hand, it's been nice on the heating bills here in the east.

F*** El Nino...LOL Damn it, this is Maine... I want snow and lots of it!...LOL I don't care about heating bills, it's included in the rent;) Can't believe it's supposed to be about 50 the next couple of days :(

the ground here is almost bare. It rained last week! It should be tons of snow and -30F. . . I actually can do without the cold, but I love snow. :(

If ya want some snow come on out here to Denver. We are STILL shoveling out.. :) :) BTW the forcast is for snow on Friday.. :thumbdn: :grumpy:

Aaronjaayl, believe me if I could I would. The good side is getting all the water into the mountains and breaking our long drought.

aj, I feel your pain. We are suffering from the same. No white Christmas here - damn Bing Crosby.

:grumpy: Doc :grumpy:

Nice pics Aaronjay I love the snow as long as I am off work and can enjoy it !
Like you I love checking out the tracks of squirrels, rabbits and stuff !!!!:D

Great pictures. In case anyone was wondering that second picture down is mouse tracks. Specifically white-footed mouse. You can tell because the tracks are white. Bwahahahahahah!

Boy, that joke just never stops being funny.

Actually, its the tail-drag shown between hops that suggests white-footed mouse -- they have particularly long tails (in case anyone cares).

Any suggestions on the other tracks? The ones second from the bottom look like they might be rabbit on top of something else (either that or something with 5 feet) but without anything for scale I'm having trouble identifying any of the others.

Our snow (here in southern NH) is pretty much all gone now. I did see a nice porcupine trail into our woods (and the usual deer tracks), but that was all before everything melted.
