Finally . . . . . Something Better Than Corn. . . . . Huh????

I don't want to assume too much,,, but I really hope if there is a B8...they are also offering its big brother ::D

Man, a 3/16" saber no choil basic 8 would just be a dream blade. Strong as a BWM/1311, big enough to chop/split with, but small/light enough to pack around everywhere without being too heavy. Seeing as how the rest of the basics are full flat grinds though, I will be happy to finally just have one at all as long as it is .25" or less. The dogs got a saber 3/16" blade with the 1311 though... I would prefer a no choil option over the anorexic idea, but .187 just batons through wood so nicely one can only hope. Two of each option like the B4's would be a hot seller and if the hardness was just a tad higher like the old stuff from 2010 on back it sure would be tough blade.

I am not as concerned about thick or thin per se, but the balance of the blade. At 8", it should have some decent chopping ability, like a FSH of the same size, so it should have a slightly blade heavy balance. With a partial tang and the Resiprene handle, the Basic 8 will probably need stock on the thin side, so as not to make it too blade heavy.

We can hope that in the past four years Jerry and crew have tried many variations to get the handling properties dialed in.

Bang for the buck. 8" of satin Infi with a comfortable Resiprene handle for good balance. Should fit nicely in a variety of sheaths.

Or is it the Team Gemini Crusader that's finally being added, because that was a special offering a few weeks ago...??? Or a Team Gemini Crusader with a Light Brigade treatment??

He says the "WEIGHT IS NEARLY OVER" so this limited edition knife probably did get a LB treatment. Ya I'm sticking with Team Gemini Crusader LB or Team Gemini Crusader.
