Finally stripping

Now the next step is to put it in a box and ship it to me.

:):):):p:p:p

Haha.

Just a tip....use a thin coat of silicone between the scales and the tang to seal up any points for moisture to enter.

I think I will do this when the Micarta gets here tomorrow.

If you want to really super darken the blade with the vinegar heat it up to a boil and then soak it.
Thanks for the info... I might try that next time.

ghost pepper salsa makes a nice, dark patina, too.
Interesting... I will have to try that sometime. Thanks for the info

No judgement. Everyone needs a side-hustle. ;)

Hahaha. Just a few nights a week. I Have to fund this knife addiction some how.

Looks Great!

Thanks!

As I was making dinner tonight, I needed to cut up potatoes.... so I grabbed the 15. Man....now that this thing is stripped of its bedliner, it’s an entirely different knife. Loving it!!! Scales are on track for delivery tomorrow!

Unfortunately to deepen the logo the coating needs to be on .
Not sure how to do this. Can you elaborate.
Its to late to deepen the etch now that the coating is off . But at least you have a logo that you can see pretty good . I have three that I tried to deepen and failed cause I had my wires crossed :p the logos don't show very good at all :D no biggie  but if and when you ever want the etch deepened remember that is the first step before stripping :)
