I finally finished painting and installing my new KMG today. What a machine! This is my first "real" grinder, and I'm glad I held out until I could go whole-hog and get the KMG with the 2HP variable-speed setup. I finished flat grinding my S30V Native that I started modifying with my old 1x30 and 4x36 belt sanders. I could never get it quite flat on those machines, nor could I get all of the divots out. I fired up the KMG with an A100 Trizact belt at the 30% speed setting and finished it in about 20 minutes, then made a couple of passes on an A65 Trizact. Looks great. Now I need to start a new knife...
