finally.....

Dan,

I have quite a few pet peeves about many sites from many knife makers. None of these apply to you: you have a really great-looking site, with very well-written material, and it's easily navigable.

Good job!

Needs more hype. ;)

Maybe you can show a pic bending a sword 6" out of true with your head!

Everything looks great! I have a feeling you'll soon have enough orders to pay off the grinder, and start on a forge!!! :D

Have you ever made one before, and if so, inquiring minds would love to see what you came up with... You will surely become a successful and well known knifemaker; hang in there, my friend! :)

Dan. Congrats on the site. I'd forgotten all about the Moose knife. :footinmou

Keep up the good work. Are you going to do a traditional Bowie anytime soon. You know the kind, just like the one Jim carried at the Alamo?

If you do, I'm in.

Brian

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. Probably the hardest thing I've done in a long time. Anyway....I've decided to jump on the bandwagon like the other knifemakers and put a pic in my sig. line. Hope nobody here is offended by it. It's there because on occasion I visit the other forums on BFC (you all already know me here) and I like to have an "identity" there.

45-70 = I got the tool boxes before I moved. They came from a retailer in California. $130/$160 for the small/big chests. I'm sure the price has gone up by now. They're coming "back in style". I absolutely love having them.

Bamboo = I'm so swamped with orders....it'll take a while to get caught up. I've been sick on-and-off with the cold/flu for 4 weeks. I lost my voice on Sunday. Have it back now and am feeling better. I think today might be the last day. Kids have a way of passing stuff around...again and again and again and...

KM - it's just another page for eye candy. Bookmark the home.htm page instead. That'll be the one I end up using the most - adding updates, news, etc.

I'm glad someone brought up the convex edge stuff.....there are some ideas there that I haven't fully disclosed here on the H.I. forum. Hopefully we can get into it a little more. Nice to finally have it in one place.

Bruise - Hype! Hype! Hype!

Tohatchi NM - I got the forge already...:D....just fired it up for the first time last night. I will definitely post pics when it's all said and done (hopefully saturday).

DrDan - I haven't finished any as of yet....but a little birdie tells me that the "breakout" piece is going to be outstanding. ;) :p

PZ93C - I had a collaboration bowie for sale a little while back - it's on the website. If I make one - you'll get a call.

First off, that's a good-looking site, quick and easy to get around. Second, no problem with that .sig either.

Most importantly, are those my YCS and WWII in the box on your table in the shop tour? I'm famous!! [faints]

Rockler?

It appears that Gerstner is picking them up for their value line. I've been lusting after original Gerstner's but they are dear on Ebay, and I want to make my own, once I get alot better at joinery.
