Finders keepers! Woohoo

I once found a 3 blade Stockman folder with Sears's name on it. The knife had been run over by a bus or something. I took it to Sears, and they gave me a brand new one.

Good maybe I'll destroy this one and get me a new one. I noticed on Sears.com that they have similar knives, they must hide them in the stores or something. I'll have to investigate this. :p

They are in there, usually in the glass case by the individual sockets. Or locked up someplace nearby...

Congrats on the find

The last time I was in Sears the knives were in a small locked, glass door, cabinet on the bottom shelf in the tools section. This one was below some screwdrivers. I walked past it several times before I noticed it. Small selection.

The Sears hardware store that I used to go to (before they moved), had an enormous knife and multi tool display case right behind the registers, and they had everything. Kershaw, Buck, Schrade, Gerber, the brands you would think you'd see in a hardware store. I used to go in just to look at the knives. Then, they started putting in S&W, Craftsman, and even dreaded Pakistan brand knives.
