Finding a custom blade craftsman in/near Alabama

Hey folks,

I tried a thread in the Sword forums, but got not one response (/tear).

I'm hoping to find a talented crafstman or crew that can make replica weapons - not simply civil-war era, but videogame replica. These are often very intricate / extravagant pieces. [example: http://gear.blizzard.com/index.php/default/wow-collectibles/frostmourne-replica-sword-b61327.html]

This would ideally be for a long-term partnership with several commissioned items, and the ideal candidate for this is someone with a portfolio of work in this line and nearby, geographically (a vid team to document the production and hype the product may also be part of this).

Anyone know of a solid person / group to contact?

There was one guy on here that posted a video of some work he did. He made a working replica of a knife from Assasins Creed, pretty cool stuff. Man At Arms was the name of his website/YouTube channel.

I'd imagine that work like this will cost a pretty penny though, much more than that $430 replica you posted.

Thanks for the info. To be clear, the replica is more a reference for people curious about the design elements; not as a price ceiling. : )
