Finding annealed steel in Phoenix

Phoenix has a post office.

Call Aldo, Jantz, USA Knifemakers, etc. and order what you need.

The Postal workers will bring it to your house.

Easy-peasy

Thanks Stacy. I was trying to avoid shipping cost. Everyone is also out of 1084, which I'm trying to track down.

Will 1095 be ok to work with? Or as a beginner should I continue to track down 1084?

Try 1084, 1080, 1070, 80CRV, or 5160 for beginner steels. 1095 has a more complex HT. Calling Aldo will often get what you want even when the web site says "Out of Stock". He also knows what else he has that will work for a newer maker.

Shipping cost is relatively low for bars of steel.

You were right, he offered to cut one for me in the size I was looking for. Thanks for the help again!
