This is a dagger with carved pearl, sterling silver ferrule, nickel silver guard and my Damascus of 1080 and nickel. The carved pearl on one side and ferrule are from an antique knife that was made in 1855 in bad shape and I could not resist using the handle. I promise that it is better than the pictures. SHARP! Blade length is 6 1/8 inches and overall length is 10 1/8 inches. SOLD SOLD 250.00 and 5.00 priority mail in USA ONLY but can ship anywhere that is legal for cost of shipping. My e-mail and paypal is dangraves4923@earthlink.net Hope you like it as I enjoyed making it.

You knocked a home run with this one. When I saw your post I knew it was gonna be good but this one is over the top. Well thought out and executed, just gorgeous.

I just received a similar Pearl/Silver/Damascus dagger from Dan. What you can't see in pictures is that Dan's daggers are well designed real knives in addition to being worthy of the title "Show Piece". The balance and in-hand feel is 'right-on', the finely tapered tip is needle sharp and both edges are razor sharp right to the hilt.
Should you ever need to use a dagger it will perform with deadly efficiency. It's a solid, real knife, not just a 'good looker', and an awesome deal for the price.

Well said, Roland. I own two of Dan's daggers, and they give me exactly the same impression. They may look like art knives, but they feel like a combat knife in a party dress. They both effortlessly 'float' on my index finger right behind the guard when I open my hand and feel extremely capable. I was expecting a pretty letter opener, but I received a deceptively solid and serious dagger.
